Great read!!!

On this Snowy Day in Denver, what better pastime than to read!

The Pillars of the Earth is one such Great Read!  Whew!  It's long and took me quite a while to finish but I highly recommend this book by Ken Follett.  Here is a quick synopsis: Set in 12th-century England, the narrative concerns the building of a cathedral in the fictional town of Kingsbridge. The ambitions of three men merge, conflict and collide through 40 years of social and political upheaval as internal church politics affect the progress of the cathedral and the fortunes of the protagonists.  It is a definite page turner and has many ups & downs and twists & turns!  This book has been out for quite a while and is also a mini series.  Next book I'm on to is also by Ken Follett titled "Fall of Giants."
