Aloha from Maui!!!

I hope all of you are enjoying life as much as we are!  The Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa has exceeded our expectations and created a relaxing, lovely atmosphere for our 27th Anniversary trip!  What a pretty place!  The weather is a warm & pleasant 85 degrees during the day and the evenings get a little cooler with a nice breeze.  The flowers and the grounds are so beautiful!  Love it!

This is the view from our room, ahhhh!  Very nice!  Speaking of our room, it's very nice and roomy.  We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite, which is very lovely!  We have 2 lanai's and a large living room area.  We were thankful that the bed is very comfortable.  This is an older property that has been recently renovated with all the latest interior finishes.  With my background in interior design and the fact that I used to design interiors for Marriott hotels, I approve of everything but would have added a bit more color in the bedroom with a tasteful Hawaiian floral bed scarf in blues, greens & beiges.  Plus some colorful artwork in the bedroom and bathrooms would add a nice touch.  I love the clean lines but miss the addition of some extra color and Hawaiian influence.

The sunsets have been lovely and I have a feeling they'll just keep getting prettier!
